We’ll be running our Chabad on a policy of radical acceptance: it doesn’t matter what you know, who you know, where you’re from, or what you do. We’re here to provide for the material and spiritual needs of Jewish students and faculty, period!
A snapshot of what Chabad at GMU will be featuring:
◙ Shabbat and holidays from A-Z, including delicious meals and engaging prayer services
◙ Social events and programming
◙ Weekly Jewish classes on a vast array of topics, including JLI’s esteemed Sinai Scholars courses.
◙ One-on-one mentorship and guidance
◙ the 1,250 Jewish students at George Mason will have a one-stop-shop for all things Jewish, warm, and welcoming
◙ incoming freshmen, who spent much of their high school experience on virtual classes, will have a supportive community where they feel at home
◙ Jewish young adults, some of whom have never identified with their Judaism before, will engage like never before
◙ every Friday night, dozens of students will relish in a magical and uplifting Shabbat environment
... And so much more.
